Do you have onsite lodging?
YES! We can accommodate 40 overnight guests within walking distance of the venue & 65 overnight guests throughout our property within a ~5 min drive. Our main lodge sleeps up to 26 people and is conveniently located ~100 yards from the venue. We also have luxury, private hotel style suites located onsite along with a variety of ranch house options to select from as well
How do your packages work?
We don't believe in tiered pricing structures- it ends up costing the couple more for services they may not even want. Instead, we offer a base price with the option to "Build Your Own Package" through a variety of package upgrades we offer. The base price includes a full weekend rental and table/chair set up. Popular package upgrade options include: onsite lodging, catering, grand exit fireworks, decor, resident DJ services, coordination, bartending, & more!
Where are you located?
We're located on a private Texas ranch in Seymour equidistant between Wichita Falls & Abilene. We are 2.5 hours west of DFW and 2 hours east of Lubbock
How long is the venue rental period?
A full weekend- from noon on Friday to noon on Sunday. Kick back and relax with us! Your wedding shouldn't feel rushed. We want our couples to soak up every second of their wedding weekend.
What is the guest capacity
We can comfortably accommodate up to 350 people indoor and an additional 150 outside. Our numbers do NOT include using the dance floor, cake or food areas to seat guests.
Is your venue climate controlled
Yes! We are fully climate controlled with a full size, industrial scale A/C and heat system to keep you and your guests comfortable. Our facilities are also fully insulated and ready for both winter & summer weddings

Flexibility- The Reserve offers a range of amenities and services from DIY to all inclusive. We offer one base pricing package- you will never pay for services you don't value. However, we also accommodate brides who value an all inclusive experience with dozens of package upgrade options including lodging, coordination, in house DJ, catering, bridal brunch, decoration rental, coordination services, bar tending services, and more!

Open Vendor List- We have an open vendor policy which allows you to bring in all your favorite vendors and supply your own alcohol with no additional upcharge.
Ample Rental Time- We offer full weekend exclusive access to the venue making the decorating and clean up process stress-free. We are committed to providing a special and memorable experience for each of our brides, which is why we only book one wedding per weekend. You will not be rushed in and out to accommodate another wedding party.
State of the Art Design- The Reserve is carefully curated specifically for weddings. The venue features abundant natural light, interior and exterior sound system, and two reception bar areas for maximum efficiency. The venue offers modern design elements with industrial finishes to accommodate a variety of wedding themes.

when can i schedule a tour
We schedule tours by appointment only. Fill out the form on the "Contact Us" page & we will send a link to schedule a tour.
We typically schedule tours during the week since the venue is rented out most weekends.
How do I book?
We require a signed contract and a $1000 retainer in order to secure your date. Of the retainer amount, $500 will be held as a security deposit and returned upon completion of the event. The remainder will be applied to the balance which is broken down into installments with final payment due two months before the event date.
What makes the onsite catering by the reserve special?
We take pride in providing the best customer service and guest experience and would love the opportunity to cater the meal as it allows us more touch points to serve our couples and their guests. It also streamlines the vendor process for an elevated, all-inclusive experience.
We have a full time kitchen staff that can provide a custom menu based on your preferences. Some of the most popular options are listed in our "Package Upgrade" section, but we welcome creativity if you have something else in mind.
Our catering experience is one of the service areas we get the most rave reviews from. In fact, we cater dozens of public events throughout the year and would love for you to come give us a taste test!
What is your alcohol policy?
You are welcome to bring in outside alcohol for guests, but it must be served by a TABC licensed bartender (we have bartenders on staff for $30 per hour) or you can bring your own (proof of license required). Additionally, we can provide a service to our couples where we make alcohol recommendations based on budget, calculate amount of alcohol needed, source your alcohol from our supplier and have it delivered onsite for your convenience.
Your guests are permitted to BYOB as long as you purchase and provide proof of a host liquor liability license with us named as a co-insured party.
What is the difference between all-inclusive experience and DIY?
Our motto is to provide couple's with a reasonable and approachable base package price with the option to update the package with a variety of add ons.
We want to respect each couple's budget, but also their time. We are fully set up to provide a completely all inclusive experience for a streamlined vendor process that takes the stress, time, and hassle out of wedding planning. We are a one stop shop from catering, to lodging, in house DJ services, decor rentals, to coordination services, bar tending services, and everything in between. We provide an experience where you can show up and enjoy your weekend without the stress of prepping for months and months.
Are set up fees included in the base price?
Yes- tables and chairs are included in base price. We have a team of people dedicated to chair transition after ceremony as well.
Is there an exclusive, preferred, or recommended vendor list?
We provide all our booked couples with a recommended list of vendors we have loved working with in the past that produces quality work- However, these are recommendations only, we have an open vendor policy and you are free to use any vendor you'd like with no additional upcharge.
How many guests are included in the base price?
Our base price includes seating for up to 175. Any additional guest is $5 per person to account for additional tables, chairs, & set up labor.
Is there a bad weather backup plan?
Yes- Texas weather can change quickly and we have a bad weather backup plan just in case. In the event of extreme wind, temperatures, or rain we move all activities indoors and adjust the layout accordingly.

We are a destination ranch wedding venue with full weekend access & onsite accommodations. The majority of our couples are from all over the map including: Wichita Falls, Abilene, Lubbock, DFW, San Angelo, Midland/Odessa, Amarillo, and Oklahoma City to name a few!
